Genuine, rare, 115,000kms Mercedes E220 two door Cabriolet in brilliant Ruby Red with cream leather upholstery. This is the W124 series renowned for being the last series built with no regard to cost. Always well maintained. I am the third owner. I bought the car through Shannons four years ago but have to now reluctantly sell. Attached is the very thorough Shannon's pre- inspection report that mentioned oil leaks from the engine and diff. I must say that I have never been aware of any such leaks since I bought the car, nor has it every dropped a single drop of oil in 4 years, The car has always been garaged and is currently on Historic registration. The car rides on 17" Merc. CLK wheels on almost new Potenza tyres, which enhance the appearance and road holding of the car. Roof is in excellent working condition but with a minor tear to the inner lining {now repaired|. All electrics including A/c, central locking and keyless entry, windows, rear headrests, etc, etc. and with driver and passenger air bags. And the retractable seat belt arms function correctly. Car comes with the removable wind deflector that fits neatly in the boot.
Note: Carsales does not appear to have a category for the cabriolet E220 so the estimated value listed appears to be for the saloon model which is a completely different kettle if fish
I think my E220 Cabriolet would probably be the best one around.
Note this car has always started first time and never failed me until just recently when it stalled whilst driving. End result: a :replaced wiring loom (due to insulation break down)and battery at a total cost of over $4000. Price now reduced to $29900). .
