1994 HSV VR MALOO 5.0 with T5 manual
I have owned and loved this wicked Maloo for around 14 years. Mature owner.
It has some tasteful upgrades designed to create a super responsive car that still drives as HSV would have intended. Everything is easy enough to reverse back to standard.

-3.73 diff ratio LSD
-New HD clutch and Yella Terra Ultra light billet flywheel.
-70mm high flowed and polished throttle body.
-Big Mouth CAI
-performance memcal. Idles and runs perfect. Needs 98 Ron fuel. Will run on 91 but has a noticeable drop in power. HSV fitted knock sensor.
- High Performance ignition module and blaster coil. ( factory modified ign module.No wiring altercations.)
-Pacemaker 1-3/4 primary tri y extractors. Ceramic coated.
- Twin 2-1/4 mandrel bent stainless system. Cross over pipe with straight through glass packed mufflers. Such a nice sounding car. Nice a crisp.
- Fibreglass bonnet.
-Family Style Wheels as unique to VR Maloo. Only VR Maloo had 7 inch wide Family's. These Family Wheels are the 16x8 inch wide versions as fitted to VP SV 5000. And have been polished. Centre caps were nos when fitted. But that was 14 years ago. So...
- This Maloo has the premium interior option factory fitted. Very Unique. Basically a Senator interior. Air bag Steering Wheel. Leather gear knob in excellent condition. Leather handbrake. Steering Wheel Leather needs replacing. Power Windows factory fitted.
-Air Conditioning needs regas.
- Paint isn't perfect and ultimately the car could with a closed door respray if your seeking perfection. It is shiny though. Or alternatively drive it as I have and still get thumbs up everywhere. A very usable Maloo.
The Engine is sweet. And the oil stays clean and clear between oil changes. Oil always replaced at 5000kms.
