1994 VR Executive Wagon – 5.0L Converted - registered as a V8 since before I acquired it.
Car has been registered and driven occasionally for the past 5 years.
286 duration crane cam
Double row timing chain
Double valve springs
Rebuilt auto from late model VT with upgraded clutches and shift kit (RVO automatics).
Gilmer Drive belt kit with straight cut pulleys
Hi-Tech extractors + full 3" exhaust
15x7 chasers with centre caps - tyres are new.
New windscreen (2021)
New front rotors and pads (2021)
New rear upper and lower control arm bushes including the ones in diff housing (2022)
New front and rear sway bar bushes (2022)
Entire rear diff replaced, diff gears and axle splines inspected, new diff oil and gasket (2022)
New rear shocks (2022)
All seats removed, carpets and seats steam cleaned/wet vacuumed (2022)
New battery with isolator (2022)
Transmission pan gasket/filter/fluid replaced (2023)
Front brake callipers replaced (single piston VS callipers) and all brake fluid replaced (2023)
Roof lining board removed, professionally reupholstered in black and reinstalled (2025)
Radiator and cooling system flushed (2025)
New PCV valve (2025)
New heater tap (2026)
New tailshaft centre bearing and tailshaft rear uni (diff end) - (2026)
Please note:
-Front passenger door has some dents, front bumper is cracked (see photos)
-Minor oil weep from sump/rocker area. No oil present around bellhousing, does not drip oil on driveway.
-Can occasionally dip or stall at lights when in gear. Never an issue in neutral or while driving. possibly I.A.C related or just needs a tune for the Cam.
-Mileage on the 5L is unknown and Odometer is stopped at 125,000
-Paint presents OK, very small surface rust spots on the back, but the car has no significant/structural rust.
-aircon not hooked up - everything is there, lines are disconnected, no belt on the compressor.
-despite replacing brake rotors, pads, callipers, replacing brake fluid, the brakes still aren't great, the car would benefit from a VT brake upgrade.
Has rego until late April, but car will be sold without Roadworthy or Registration.
I am willing to get a RWC pre-inspection done for a serious buyer.
