About the vehicle;
This Ford Falcon EB, built 1991, is a fine example of the original EB Falcon and whilst the car needs some attention it was a faithful daily drive for many many years. In this time the car was well looked after in all respects with attention paid to all key maintenance milestones, regularly detailed and stored out of the weather. In recent years the EB has been stored away and become a restoration project that never quite materialized.
When stored the car has been under a car blank. Whilst not driven recently, at last drive the car was mechanically sound. The robust Ford straight 6 engine was also rebuild around 100,000-150,000 KM ago with all service work being performed by a former local mechanic during the vehicles operational life.
The body condition is to be as expected for a vehicle of this age and is without accident damage or otherwise large paint defects. As such there is likely to be fewer examples of an EB in this sort of condition.
Historically the vehicle was ex- government and the seller is still the second owner.
This EB is ideal either as a car enthusiast restoration project, a first car or even a source of spares for Falcons of a similar age or slightly later (EB-EL models)

***Update: this project car has recently been found to have stopped working and will require a new engine. Haven’t had a chance to determine exact cause. A a new engine is between $150 to $200, tops $400-500 and could be an ideal platform for a Barra / BA swap if desired. A new one is a wise move and will be reflected in price, offers at $600-800 will be considered reasonable, and are reflective of the vehicle being worth around $1,200- 1,300. Which when comparing the market for EB and EF Falcons is still competitive.”
Again serious offers, no low ballers please. Looking to move the vehicle to someone who sees it’s potential as an investment and rewarding project as the EB’s become increasingly rare. As stands not a cheap road ready car or quick fix solution.
