I have owned four Alfa Spiders, this is the last of the 105 series and by far the best. On the series 4 Spider, Alfa Romeo used higher quality steel and modern rust proofing techniques,compared to its predecessors. Also fitted with front wheel arch liner and heavy undersealing. It also used a sophisticated Bosch Engine Management . Also adding both power steering and power windows. The Alfa Romeo long lived alloy DOHC four is legendary,and with the auto. option, these units are becoming highly sought after as traffic is increasing. In the auto. models Alfa fitted the very reliable .ZF 3HP 22 transmission which was used in many BMW models. The autos were also a better conversion with no clutch issues or pesky syncro problems. This car is amazing . Body has been restored by well respected G.T. Motors . Auto Restoration Services at Bowen Hills. This car is in immaculate condition and drives beautifully. Maintained by Alfa Specialist Chris from AUTOMOTION in Enoggera , who is regarded as the best Alfa mechanic in Brisbane.Next to my late dear friend Ettore Massa from IL BOLIDE ROSSO in Melbourne This is a very rare car ,which will definately be a blue chip investment.
