Most will know this model Mercedes comes from the era of the height of Sacco design influence combined with outstanding engineering and build quality of the era, and it shows in this car.
This is an Australian delivered 2-owner car. Every service receipt from new is provided with the car, showing its impeccable service history with Mercedes dealers or a well regarded Mercedes specialist workshop. A full and complete set of owners books accompanies the car, as seen in the photos. Also with the vehicle is the original delivery letter and related documents showing a purchase price of $154,000 in 1991, along with new car brochures.
The vehicle is fitted with all of the usual luxuries expected of this model, along with optional factory moulded mud flaps and the very rare option of an integrated electric rear roller blind (option code 544).
The white duco (147U) presents beautifully and the grey leather interior (268) is absolutely original and in perfect order, as are the interior and boot carpets. The first aid kit and tool kit are both provided, and I suspect have never been used.
Everything works as it should and the vehicle is ready to provide many years of modern classic driving pleasure.
This vehicle is on historic registration in South Australia and would be eligible for historic/club registration elsewhere.
Having owned the vehicle for nearly 10 years, this is a regretful sale, necessary to reduce our family collection in preparation for a downsize move from our family home.
Roadworthy certificates are not part of motor vehicle law in South Australia, so I’ve had to answer “no” to a roadworthy certificate as they don’t exist in SA.
