This is a car for the enthusiast or collector. It is in original condition, no restorations, and low mileage. It has won awards at the BMW NSW Drivers Club. It is in concourse condition, draws attention wherever it goes, and a better example of this model has still to be seen.
The E30 318is was in limited production in 1989-90 and set out to compete with sports models of the period – like the Volkswagen GTI. Many were subsequently used for racing (not this one), because of the excellent power to weight ratio and superb road holding. It was referred to as the “Baby M3”, and as such was often adorned with M badges at purchase. It came with Sports Suspension, power steering, electric mirrors, M-Tech steering wheel, M gear lever knob, and front and rear spoilers.
The following are modifications made to the car:
• High quality Rockford Fosgate sound system with Kef speakers and Clarion radio.
• Remus exhaust.
• Alarm system with key fobs that allow keyless entry.
The car has been fully maintained. I have owned it since 2021 and used it for BMW Club historic runs and Show and Shine events. The previous owner was a collector who maintained a large car collection on the Gold Coast and rarely drove it.
I am selling to concentrate on my BMW E36 328i convertible.
Oh, and the 318is is Brilliantrot - red….
