1990 BMW 318i e30 in Alpine White for sale - this has been an extremely reliable car for us and hasn't missed a beat. One of the cheapest in Australia at the moment that is registered and in running condition. The car is registered in Vic due to living there temporarily. The mechanic here has said there is not much needed to get it registered here in Tas (steering rack/control arm on one side and minor items).
It has been recently serviced with a new battery included. The main work to do is a minor scrape on the driver's door - a scrape in the paint of approx an inch or so where it has gone thru the metal. On the other side, as pictured, there's a minor shopping trolley indent that was there when we purchased the car. The car would also probably need a buff and polish from mostly being outside on acreage block.
Car was purchased approx 11 yrs ago from an owner in Balwyn who had it garaged permanently after his daughter had used it for uni. The odometer stopped at approx 240000km as is the case with many BMWs of this era, but it would definitely not have done more than 270000km total due to working from home and light use otherwise. There's decades of logbook entries that also indicate this.
Feel free to phone or message for further details. Offers close to the $8000-9000 would be considered.
UPDATE 01/04/24 - I'm still waiting for a mechanical workshop near Hobart to do a basic control arm repair on the car, but I will now have to switch mechanics just to get the job done (I am based between Richmond/Dulcot Tas on acreage where the car will be based afterwards.) More photos to come once I get the car back from the mechanic, or could be viewed at the mechanics.
