I am pleased to offer for sale this Australian delivered factory Right Hand Drive, 1989 Ferrari Testarossa. The car is finished in the most striking and very rare colour ‘Giallo’ Fly Yellow (paint code FER 102) this a most stunning colour combination for Testarossa. It achieves a very special appearance accentuating the black grills and many black body trims.

Documentation from Maranello Concessionaires confirms this 1989 Ferrari Testarossa is a matching numbers example where engine, gearbox, chassis and assembly number are all correct.
This car was first registered in December 1990 as a customer requested import from Australian Ferrari Maranello Concessionaires Sydney, thiswas the only way to obtain such a special Ferrari in an era when none were available ex-showroom
Today it is completely period-correct, just as it left the Ferrari factory in Modena back in 1989.

Penned by Pininfarina design house and released in 1984, the Ferrari Testarossa was the ultimate 1980’s retro status symbol with stunning in your face styling and performance derived from the Formula 1’s 312T engine
With the iconic Ferrari wedge profile, huge side air intakes shielded by 5 long strakes, a thrilling forward driving position and fender to fender louvered rear grill, this Ferrari not only looks fast, it devoured 0-100 Klms in just 4.8 seconds
Corresponding to the original delivery certificate. This stunning Testarossa was ordered new by Maranello Concessionaires, Sydney in December 1989 and achieved ADR compliance in April 1990. Optioned in iconic Giallo Fly Yellow paintwork over black leather interior this example has seen just 29496 miles since new.
An original example , this car features the ultimate open-gate manual Transmission no longer produced by Ferrari, 18 inch alloys wrapped in period correct Pirelli P7 rubber and colour coded car cover add a nice touch.
Overall the condition is simply outstanding, reflective of the low milage. Outside the paint work is exceptional, the Giallo contrasts with the black grills and many black body trims and the wheels are pristine.
Inside the leather seats, steeling wheel, dash and plush carpets are period correct. The original stereo and dash controls are spotless and the view from the driver’s seat of the fire red dials urges you to hold that gear a fraction longer.
With the car are all the Original books including delivery certificate, service logbook and owners manual all in the original embossed leather pouch. Also included are 3 sets of Ferrari keys. The factory tools are also included with the car as well as a collection of Testarossa memorabilia, something very hard to come by.
The reintroduction of the ‘Testarossa’ badging on the 2026 Ferrari 849 Testarossa further reinforces the heritage and providence of the marque, and will surely carry resale values to a new upper level …
