For Sale 1988 E30 325i M-Tech 1 convertible in Diamond Schwarz-metallic. A rust free original condition example.
Imported into WA from the UK around 1992. Matching number engine and chassis car with complete books and service history from new.
The previous owner was a BMW master mechanic who in2010 did comprehensive restoration with OEM parts. More than $20k of receipts.
List of restorations:
Refurbished roof.
Fresh interior. Dash in good condition. New dash under tray. Original working radio. SI battery replaced. The interior is immaculate.
Restored suspension with new springs. All bushes, anti roll bars, links, strut top mounts, arms. Car riding nice and supple.
Clutch, gearbox seals, spigot bearing, clutch pivot and arm, gear shift mechanism and bushes, prop shaft centre bearing, rubber guibo, guide bush.
Engine - thermostat, distributor cap and arm, all engine vacuum hoses including intake boot, fuel injectors, sump gasket, rear main seal, rocker cover gasket, spark plugs, oil change, air filter, fuel filter, idle valve and restored mass airflow meter. Accelerator cable, mechanism bushes, engine mounts, gearbox mounts. Exhaust brackets and mounts.
Timing belt, water pump, belt tensioner changed May 25. Service May 26.
Brake light cluster, windscreen, fuel surround.
The paintwork is in excellent condition, though not concourse. Tires are Bridgestone RE71. Club plates which are not transferable.
