This luxurious 1988 Mercedes-Benz 420SEL is a dynamic ride in luxury. Always kept in the garage, safe and sound. An accident free car. Reliable having just completed a major service. It's been regularly serviced with full log book history. SAFETY FEATURES: Strong ABS brakes. EXCITING FEATURES This Mercedes-Benz 420SEL 1988 (No Badge) has 14" alloy wheels, power door mirrors, cruise control, powered sunroof, air conditioning, power steering, front & rear power windows and central locking. Don't let this go at this price!. Will come with a complete roadworthy certificate. I am the third owner of the vehicle. Over $7500 has just been spent on the vehicle with the cylinder heads and camshafts having been rebuilt and brand new timing chain. All brand new injectors, guides and seals have also been fitted. So much more work has been done on restoring the vehicle and its engine but it is too much to write here in the advertisement. Will provide receipts However some of the restored part include the following: New Bosch distributor cap and rotor fitted; new engine oils and oil filter; new coil ignition: new fuel filter; new leads and spark plugs; and a new crank shaft sensor, new steering shaft and Column; the automatic transmission has been serviced with a new filter fitted and gasket kit; the AC has been serviced and regased and fitted with a new air con control switch and relay; new coolant switch; and new temperature switch; Also part of the service as required, I have had a new overload really fitted, new damper air filter housing and air filter hose, and the idle speed and mixture have been checked and adjusted. This service, one of many, has cost $1,357.20. The overall condition of this vehicle is very good and would suit a collector or someone who understands these classic vehicles and appreciates German Motor Engineering. For this very reason I would appreciate only genuine enquires and will not respond to any offers as it is a must that you inspect the vehicle. Although some would think that the kilometres are high, but for a V8 Mercedes it is still teething as these engines are designed to clock 1 million without breaking a sweat. The ABS breaks work extremely well on this vehicle and the tyres are in good condition. The paint over all is good but it can do with a professional detailing and cut and polish.
