This May build 1988 Mercedes Benz 420 sel is a ride in Air Conditioned luxury. The power seats leather upholstery is covered in fitted lambskin seat covers and are very comfortable. Tinted windows complete the picture. A top of the range Alpine FM/AM Cassette Receiver and 6 disc cd unit provides a choice of entertainment.. It has cruise control, ABS brakes self level Pneumatic rear suspension , the air cylinders have just been renewed. This car is fitted with a LSD.
In addition to all the foregoing this unique Mercedes-Benz 420sel (no badge) has air conditioning, "15"" alloy wheels fitted with New Michelin's. front & rear power windows, power door mirrors and powered sunroof, power steering.
The engine and cylinder heads have been rebuilt replacing big end bearings, piston ring sets, honing cylinder bores, valve guides and valve stem seals, New valve guides, timing chain and tensioner rails, cam sprockets and too much to list here. Work invoice and full parts list will be shown to perspective buyer.
The overall condition of this car is very good and would suit someone who appreciates true German Quality Engineering. Some would think the mileage high, THE ENGINE HAS ONLY DONE 8000KM since rebuild.
The suspension on this car is very good, the Michelin's are 8000km old. The paint is good but not perfect,
