The car previously spent time in California and i purchased it from its original owner and shipped to Australia. It has been garage kept all its life and serviced with log books to show.
When it arrived in Sydney, it was taken to MB Classic Star, one of Australia’s top classic Mercedes’ mechanic. There, it’s timing chain was replaced and a thorough top to bottom inspection and service performed. It has also been serviced by CMR in Marrickville.
The car is finished in Signal Red (568) with a black soft top which appears to be in near new condition. Equipment includes a body-colored removable hardtop and fog lights and US style front and rear bumpers.The cabin features seats upholstered in Palomino leather (274) with matching door panels, carpets, floor mats, and lower dash plastics as well as burl wood trim. Appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control , electric windows and electric passenger side mirror.
The leather-wrapped and airbag-equipped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 82000miles, which is approximately 128000 km. In Mercedes circles, she is just warming up.
You will be happy to see all original sales documentation of this car including letters from the dealer to its buyer and payment receipts including the deposit. Also with the sale is it’s original log books and service records.
