AC Cobra LHD 1983 Contempory Classic, 428 Big Block This car was imported into Australia in 2012 and has full NSW registration. Originally it was a project back in America for a father and son to bond, in 1983, but turned into a barn find for the head of Shelby America and he enjoyed it for a few years. It was then sold to a New Yorker, registered in Massachusetts and auto crossed for 15 years. Last USA registration sticker remains on the windscreen. USA rego plate is attached (but covered up) I have documented the full history of this vehicle from 1983 - 2025 totalling 5 owners. All receipts are available from 1983 The vehicle was imported into Australia in 2012. In 2020 I became the proud owner and meticulously brought the vehicle to its current performance excitement. Please feel free to call me if you are genuinely interested, not only in a car that performs but also is reliable and comfortable to drive with the modern update of android/apple car play, 10'' Kenwood screen. Also with a fully rebuilt 428 Big Block motor with only 1,000 miles since rebuild. Refurbished front and rear end. Fullt restored Halibrand magnesium rims and new performance rubber. Custom made Aussie Dessert Cooler radiator and restored instruments and guages. Fully rewired. Newly made custom torno cover and a stainless steel bow kit and soft top. Full racing harness. Excellent sound system. The paintwork is not perfect. It is original and has a patina which adds to its character and originality. It turns heads and attracts compliments, it's a pleasure to drive.
