Selling my 1985 Porsche 944 early generation. Very original car with only minor modifications to improve drivability.
Recently undergone a major service including timing belt & water pump, and oil cooler in the last 2000km. Clutch still has plenty of life. Been very reliable with no issues since owning and has always been garaged. Full service history and tens of thousands of dollars of receipts since new. Mechanically A1 with nothing to spend.
Fitted with short shifter + upgraded linkage arm, new throttle cam, boot latches, and rear wiper delete from Only944.com. Currently on Cup II wheels with new Michelin Pilot Sports, however have the original Fuchs wheels that will come with sale. Factory air conditioning and electrical windows in good working order. Factory tool kit and a Haynes manual also included.
Some minor cosmetic issues - small paint chips on front bumper and side mirrors, and front seats could do with a reupholster. Please refer to last pictures. Depending on timing of sale, paint repair may be undertaken. I am also looking at a reupholster in the near future. Happy to discuss either of these with a potential buyer. Other than that, body is extremely straight with no signs of rust or repair.
Currently on Club Rego, so no Stamp Duty is payable if it is being switched over to another club member. No issues with shipping to interstate buyers if required.
I may consider a trade for a car in the similar era (80s - 90s), with cash either way. I am in no rush to sell so no silly offers please.
Any questions please let me know!
