A unique and very rare XJS--C This car is one of a small number of vehicles made between 1983 and 1986 and is even rarer due to the engine and transmission setup. The engine is a straight six, overhead cam and fuel injected 3.6 litre version which has adequate power and provides good fuel economy. The transmission is a 5 speed manual GETREG with a very smooth gear change action. The body is in very sound condition finished in a lovely burgundy colour. The interior leather finish is in good condition and is doeskin in colour and the wood veneer is also in good condition. There is a wood rimmed alloy steering wheel fitted. The TARGA CABRIOLET roof system is in good condition and operates eiasly. It is completely waterproof and the plexiglass rear window is reasonably clear. The rear section folds down into the rear of the car and has a tornaeu cover for when itis down. Please note that the car is a CABRIOLET not a CONVERTABLE. The tyres are nearly new and a new battery has been fitted. The airconditioning has been overhauled and a new dryer fitted. The system has been regassed.
