I am selling this immaculate Jaguar XJS time capsule on behalf of the original elderly owner. The current and only owner purchased it brand new on the 4th October 1985 from United Motors in Adelaide. This vehicle has the owner’s manual, maintenance and emission control handbook, drivers handbook and electrical data chart. The car also comes with the original service books with history and there is a folder full of receipts and service records dating back at least 35 years. The paint work and body is in immaculate condition being white with a gold pin stripe with mulberry leather interior and original woodgrain trim. The seats have beautiful lamb’s wool seat cover’s which were installed by the dealer when purchase and have never been removed. I can only imagine the leather is like new underneath. There has been a lot of work done in the past 3 years, cooling system, front end suspension and a new battery two weeks ago. All receipts held. This is the V12 XJS had a 5.3liter engine with the flexible convertible roof, two panels on the roof that are both removable and the rear tonneau cover with plastic window, no sun damage and tonneau cover in pristine condition. This car has to be seen to be appreciated, genuine 66000kms on the odometer as proven by log books this is truly a one off. Inspection’s welcome, however no joy riders and I will accompany the driver on test drive. This is a much loved car and low ball offers are not considered.
