1983 Porsche 928 S. August 1982 build for 1983 model year. 221 kW Australian delivered, 10:1 C/R. CIS K-Jet injection. 3 speed not 4 as stated by carsales. Rare Ruby Reb Metallic exterior (Rubinrot Metallic) with Wine Red (Weinrot) interior. Leather replaced (seats, console and hump) and car re-sprayed prior to my ownership (pre 2016). Fitted with forged flat disc Fuchs wheels, platinum colour (slight gold colour is direct sunlight). Car is very original, save for steering wheel and stereo. Well looked after and maintained example, lots of work done. Full engine rebuild completed in 2020 – approx. 6000km since rebuild. Please all the details. Details of works done; • Engine rebuild, o Crank ground with new bearings, o New alusil liner and piston (only one required, no wear to others – 3 actually replaced) o New rings, o Head planned, with new valves guides, valve stem seals, valve springs, valves, collets, etc o Camshafts reground to factory spec. o Camshaft lifters re-conditioned, o All new bolts, studs and nuts throughout, o New sump, o New water pump, guide and timing belt, no wear to cam gears • New injectors, seals and retaining nuts and rubber hoses/ tubes, • All vacuum hoses replaced, • New engine mounts, • Re-built WUR, • New distributor rotor and cap, new plus leads, • Re-built alternator • New tyres 2020 (same time as engine rebuild) Bridgestone RE003, • Momo steering wheel (used), original in good condition, • Nakamichi CD in dash stacker – original tape player available if wanted, • Odometer gear replaced, • New radiator and hose.
