Fully Remanufactured to be the timeless classic that Range Rovers are, with reliability and rustproofing to take this lovely old girl well beyond the next 43 years.
Ground up rebuild/restoration/refurbished terms all encompassing that are used often describing various levels of work, quality and competence. We go beyond to ensure our rebuilds are of the very highest level of quality, detail and workmanship. Every system and component gets attention to bring it back to as new condition or better.
So why the high price tag!?
Good question and the simple answer would be quality costs!
But look deeper and the answer is more, the 1000 or so man hours from our workshop and the many other specialist workshops locally that assist us along the way. Brake workshop, suspension (Boge unit rebuild), radiator shop, panel and paint, ceramic coating, anodising, upholstery, electroplating and chrome plating, tyre shop and wheel refurbishing specialists, instrument workshop, air conditioning, etc. Then the many parts suppliers and fellow Range Rover enthusiasts that help with those hard to get parts, add on top of that hefty import tax and freight costs out of the UK and it’s easy to see how the cost for this type of build sky rockets. Luckily, some two door Range Rover are quite scarce adding to their value. Cars to look out for in my opinion would be early examples, suffix A / B / C spanning 1970 thru 1974 with maybe no more than 20,000 ever built, and most long since scrapped. Special or limited edition cars too, I personally love the Schuler by Quadromotive less than 50 builds. Schuler replaced the clunky 4 speed manual gear box and transfer case with Chrysler Torqueflight auto and the legendary Ferguson Formula transfer box smoother and certainly quieter. Schuler gave no compromise to off road ability but vastly superior on road handling with a 37/63 front to rear power split as opposed to land rover being50/50.
