F350 Dual Wheel - old school cool with NO RUST!
460 big block total rebuild. ZF 5 speed manual gearbox, Cab off rebuild.
This was my farm truck and it has served me incredibly well as it has a massive towing and 1.5T carrying capacity (rated to 4.5T GVM).
The drivetrain is a Ford 460 CID (7.5L) V8 big block coupled to a ZF S5-42 5-speed transmission - incredible amounts of torque, pure reliability and control. The 5 speed is a rarity as it gives you that cruising gear on the highway. What I love about this truck is that it can pull away in any gear with the amount of torque it has. 420lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. The engine and transmission along with the dual pipes give it a beautiful note and low grumble that is pleasant and won't upset the neighbours.
The engine has recently had a complete strip down and rebuild (pics, specs and receipts can be provided) and I'm selling it as the farm has been sold.
The tray was rebuilt last year and has two side lockable tool boxes and drop sides that come off. It's an aluminum base with steel sides.
The cab has been taken off, sandblasted and all rust repaired - new footwells, firewall, corners and paint. This truck is the only one of it's age with no rust.
For comfort ETSO truck seats have been installed for those long journeys, as well as sound dampening interior, a infotainment unit with Bluetooth (Android Auto & Apple CarPlay) and integrated reverse camera. New door cards, dash pad and flooring. New glass all around - front, rear, sides; and new chrome bumper, chrome brightwork, front grill, headlight surrounds and headlights. Finally KC Daylighter Halogen driving lights complete the retro look and turn night into day.
Lowered rear hitch also added for towing - perfect vehicle for pulling the mini digger to the job site or the weekend boat.
This is a great car for those looking to move or tow heavy gear with plenty of pull.
