This 1980 Porsche 911 in light blue metallic was executive driven at Porsche Reading UK for the first 7,246 miles.
Between April 1980 and September 1995 it only had 4 owners with Full Porsche Service History (FPSH).
Of particular note is the total engine build by AFN Porsche (London) Limited at Isleworth in May 1988 at 59,444 miles, and in March 1994 a replacement gearbox was fitted at 93,056 miles.
The vehicle was imported to Australia on February 14, 1996. It first went to Queensland with 97,880 miles recorded and subsequently sold to a South Australian (SA) owner where the vehicle has since resided. The service history in SA is from 2003 with 109,556 miles who owned the car until 2016 where it was sold to the owner whom I purchased the car from.
I purchased in 2019 but before I did a pre purchase inspection was carried out, with a leakdown result of 5-8% warm. This was the deciding factor for me to purchase the car, along with its extensive FPSH history. During my time with the car it has had no expense spared to bring it back to its former glory, circa $40k.
Let's start from the ground up for what has recently been done to the car:

If you know anything about Porsche's then you will know "there is no such thing as a cheap Porsche". Service history is everything and this vehicle has a file over an inch thick for its 10 owners. Whilst in Australia it has only travelled 34,000 km's in 28 years. The rebuilt car is less than 1,000km old.
I have run out of shed room and it's time for someone else to drive and enjoy.
