1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SLC – Classic V8 Coupe Classic 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SLC finished in cherry red. A solid, drivable classic with plenty of recent work and great presence. The car has 370,000+ km and has had an upper and lower engine rebuild in 2018. The V8 runs well and pulls smoothly. It was repainted in 2019, with rust repairs carried out in 2025 — note that some rust remains, as expected for a car of this age. Interior was fully refreshed in 2019 with cream leather imported from Germany, along with new carpets. The air conditioning was reconditioned in 2025 and works well. All features work except cruise control. This is an honest classic coupe — not a concours car, but a great cruiser you can enjoy now and continue improving.
