1977 Mercedes-Benz 450SL. First registered in March 1978, delivered by Yorkstar Motors Syndney. I've owned and loved this car for over 20 years but it's time to find a new owner. It's in excellent condition having travelled a careful 208,000 km, most of that in its first 20 years. I'm the third owner and it's always been garaged and covered whilst I've owned it. The timing chain and cover were replaced at 205,000 km, as well as the injectors, spark plugs and engine mounts. The paint work is original and presents very well with no major scratches or rust. The interior is well presented with wood paneling and navy interior. The only blemish is the common but minor cracking in the dash (see photo). The vehicle has been fastidiously maintained and has never been in an accident. There is a replacement service manual issued in 1988 when the vehicle had 75,500 km on the speedometer. Most of the service history is available for inspection from that point. A custom wooden stand for the hard top is included.
