1976 Volkswagen Kombi Transporter Campmobile Regrettable sale. After being coward-punched in the face by a drug criminal in 2021 (nearly died and facial reconstruction) - through no fault of my own - I am unable to drive my beautiful bus. I want someone to enjoy what I did and pass it on to future generations of coolness. After 10 fun-filled years of ownership, it’s time for the ‘Ranga’ to find it’s new crew. If your motto is ‘if it’s not fun, it’s not done’, then this will suit you perfectly. Fully restored approx 13 years ago, this Citrus Red eye-catcher will bring a smile to everyone’s face - especially the people cruising in it. Regularly serviced without fail by VW specialists each time and always garaged. It seats 4 people, the rear seat is a rock’n’roller’ bed - it folds flat with enough room to sleep two people, cupboards to store all you need for going camping or a trip to the beach. A fridge, (dual battery set up), sink, 66l water tank, roof rack, aftermarket CD/stereo, tinted windows, interior curtains for full...er...light blockout, bull bar, tow bar, fire extinguisher, awning and more. Many upgrades with receipts. Pop-top in good condition, no rust apart from some surface bubbles around the front wheel arch and a few other minor spots. Deco great for age. 2.0l Twin Carb, 4sp Manual - mechanically A1. Good brakes & tyres. Driving lights. Sits easily at 100-110 on the highway - hills mean using the 'box', but that's par for the course for anyone who knows Kombis! Took us up to our favourite Sunshine Coast destinations regularly, and from Brisbane to Canberra fully loaded, without an issue. Cruised all around ACT and Southern NSW while we were living in Canberra, and when we moved back to Brisbane, it did the trick all over again! This bus oozes ‘endless summer’.
