1975 VW Kombi with a lot of recent work and a genuinely tidy overall presentation. The original 1600cc engine has been upgraded to 1641cc using Mahle cylinders and heads, with less than 100 km on the rebuild, so the motor is essentially fresh and still being run in. It starts and runs well, and I drive it around the block about once a month to keep everything moving. The bus was previously on full rego before being moved to historic registration, which has since lapsed simply because ! haven't been actively using it. The interior is clean with black and white checkered flooring, a lay-back bed, and a compact sound system neatly installed underneath. It also has a small! camp-kitchen setup with an electric-powered sink, grey-water tank, and a small electric fridge, all running off a dedicated secondary battery so the main battery is never affected. The exterior was repainted a few years ago and still presents well, though a couple of older bog spots have started to weep and may need sanding back and redoing. A lot of work has gone into this Kombi and it's a really nice car overall, but I've moved to a new house with no space for it and my parents want their driveway back, so it's time for someone else to enjoy it. It's priced fairly for the condition and the work done and is already the lowest on Carsales for this quality, so the price is negotiable within reason and I'm only interested in serious enquiries.
