This genuine one-owner Jamaican Lime Green 1975 Holden HJ Sandman Panel Van has frequented many Swap Meets, Car Shows and events in Victoria for over 50 years and will be a familiar car to many.
The Sandman was purchased in June 1975 and the original purchase invoice is available together with original Registration Certificate, Warranty Certificate, Holden "HJ" Series Owner Guide, Vehicle Report from Holden Historical Services and other original paperwork.
The original 253V8 engine was replaced with a 308V8 in 1989 which was better equipped for towing however the original 253V8 is included in the sale so all numbers will be matching. The 253 had done around 60,000kms prior to replacement.
The Sandman has always been regularly serviced and garaged and there is no rust.
Only seat belts and internal sun visors have been replaced due to wear and tear.
When purchased the Sandman was fitted with after-market Smiths Air conditioning Unit (orig. booklet available) and factory power steering was later installed.
The Sandman exudes originality with it's original paint and interior and can easily be put back together as a genuine matching number vehicle.
The Sandman has always been on full Victorian Registration and has recently passed a Victorian Roadworthy Test.
