Schwarz / Black 1975 2002tii. Progressively restored over a period of 10 years. Planned to keep forever but another project has come up. Engine/Chassis #2771018, in the last 215 of only 1233 RHD tii's ever built. Exterior paint recently re-finished. Presents very nicely. Headlight reflectors “re-silvered” and perform very well. New genuine BMW Front side indicator lenses and rear tail lights fitted. All original decals . Genuine BBS RS 15" wheels, RS016 6 ½ J x 15 ET32. Suspension H&R Sport springs and Bilstein HD shocks. Interior seats and door cards professionally re-trimmed in genuine original BMW black vinyl. Comes with two sets of front seats: Original, and also genuine rare Recaro LXC seats. All required seat rails, adapters and hardware included to swap as you please. Both sets trimmed in genuine matching original BMW black vinyl. Dash re-skinned and crack-free. Replaced many rubber weatherstrip seals throughout. More included in sale. Sound deadener installed throughout chassis and door skins, Single Din Alpine Bluetooth head unit, Focal speakers, amplifier/DSP Mechanically, Kugelfischer injection pump recently fully rebuilt by the famous Gus Pfister in San Francisco. Injectors also tested in spec. Engine valve clearances adjusted. Accelerator bushings and original injection system linkages and components renewed. Brake lines, front pads and rear brake shoes and cylinders renewed. Original Getrag 4 speed Manual transmission. Most underbody bushings replaced in last few years. More included in sale. Heater box recently rebuilt with new fittings, foam inserts and vents. Heater core professionally re-cored. New genuine dash vent selector backing plates installed. Front steering tie rods renewed. Cooling system hoses renewed. New thermostat. Diff, Gearbox and Engine oils all recently renewed along with BMW coolant and brake fluid, air, oil and fuel filters. Electrically, recently sourced rare Bosch electronic injection timer preserving original injection warm-up system . New Bosch AL41X 65 Amp Alternator fitted. New Bosch SR441X Starter Motor fitted (both original items included in sale). 123 Electronic Ignition fitted (original Tii 009 Distributor in excellent condition also included in sale and could easily be swapped back). New Battery fitted. Car restored to retain originality (such as decals). Paint has minor defects, bumper bars/belt line trim would benefit from a re-finish/chrome, some under dash panels to be replaced. Presents and drives beautifully. Interior is like new, Original BMW/OEM parts sourced globally whenever possible. Non-original items listed above, such as BBS wheels, ignition, and Bosch starter and alternator all selected based on use on BMW models following this vintage. Original items included in sale should new owner wish to return car to completely original. Stored under cover, and Covercraft Weathershield custom car cover (included). Large folder of receipts. Many, many parts not mentioned here. Rare Blue original BMW Repair Manual included. Originally delivered in Golf yellow, Certified BMW “Birth Certificate” included with correct matching engine and chassis numbers. Currently registered on non-transferable NSW Historic plates. Countless hours poured into this car. I love this car. Reluctantly letting go for a new owner to continue the journey!
