Reluctantly I’m having to put the coupe up for sale, this isn’t an I’m broke the toys have to go situation it’s a - it’s time to buy a house the family can own which will be better for the kids in the long term than dads loud old Mazda . I’ve owned the car for 20 years now,
Car was bare metaled in 2009 or 2010 I don’t remember. Every panel was replaced With genuine mint condition ones at the time. Not long after it was painted I moved o/s and it was covered in blankets and sat for 5-6 years . Soon returning it received various motor configurations and kids happened . Back under the blankets .
Fast forward and here we are
808 coupe. 10a s1 nose with correct candy taillights .Resprayed factory WR Marguerite white with factory black trim. Rx3 dash rx3 dif and the best rx3 wheel I’ve come across. Rebushed front to back with all new steering components. S2 struts with coil overs and reset rear leafs. Patrol brake master (peddle feels crap with it but stops well) rx4 based 13b bridge port with 48ida . Match weighted rotors and all new Mazda seals and bearings super seal apex seals . Would have 3-5oooks on the motor . Makes 200hp. Genuine old school 16” OM 3piece Simmons in 4x100 with bolt on spaces I planned on redrilling and adding 2” lips but never got around to it. Have a set of venetians for the rear . Paint presents well. It’s 17 years old now so has a few stone chips . There’s a pin hole in the boot with rust starting underneath and some moisture blisters in the drivers rear quarter from me leaving it under blankets . Hasn’t changed in 15 years just annoying . . I never got around to painting the boot was a job on the list . door scuff plates are cracked . Price is 86000 will happily negotiate in person after viewing. I’m not taking offers over the phone or texts . There also won’t be any test drives without producing the cash. Cars located in langwarrin on the Mornington peninsula .
