If you are looking for a hq coupe that has never had rust then this is the car for you. I am ocd with all of my cars that i have owned. i obviously did not buy this car to sell it but ive come to realise that i dont drive it enough to warrent keeping it. This is a factory tagged 1974 Holden Monaro GTS HQ Automatic 253 v8 coupe. Original engine was not in the vehicle when i bought it. I have owned this vehicle for approx 7 years. It has a brand new reconditioned vortec 350cc engine with a th400 transmission. engine is stock so it is smooth and can run all day in the heat. Twin thermo fans & electric water pump. The vortec 350 is a 90s us engine which is cast iron with 4 bolt mains and a roller cam.very reliable running gear. power and economy. all brand new factory interior from headliner to carpet. Herringbone insert as per 1974. Original radio also. salamanca red (original color) to the tags. Paint work in very good condition. I have also had all the engine bay wiring fully reconditioned by 12volt. all brand new chassis to body mounts also fitted recently. 15 inch alloy gts wheels with thin red wall on tyres. Brand new fuel tank also fitted and painted in light metallic silver. Price is firm. in no rush to sell. This vehicle is ready to just get in and drive. nothing to do just enjoy.
