1973 Volkswagen Kombi T2 Microbus in Saturn Yellow, always registered, always garaged! This highly collectable, good condition Kombi has taken us on many extended trips throughout Australia from the 70s to the 90s. More recently has been kept in the garage, doing local trips (20-30 km a year) and always registered. The Kombi can be converted for camping to create a bed instead of the middle seats. Very comfortable for road trips! Location: between Seal Rocks and Pacific Palms, one hour north of Newcastle. Come and check it out during a spectacular coastal getaway! • Owned by me since 1974 (49 years) • Always garaged • Never involved in any accidents • Registered to August 2024 • Good condition, very original, drives well • Four new tyres fitted in 2022 • Motor replaced in June 1995 (1800cc) and 96,600 km done since. Overall 188,297 km. • Rear seats in good condition, driver’s seat needs new cushion • Floor pan in very good condition, some minor rust developing on the body • An August 2022 mechanical inspection identified the following areas requiring future attention: carburetors, distributor, brakes and exhaust heater exchanges • Additional items included: original receipts dating back to the 1980s, original workshop manual, stone guard for windscreen, roof racks, snow chains, and a variety of spare parts • Boxes that transform into a bed can be included • Asking price: $26000
