This magnificent example of the highly sought after early model 911E. Built in 1972, delivered to its first owner in Austria in 1973. Meticulously restored from 2015 to 2016 by a Posrche-AG approved Porsche Specialist in Europe. Bought and delivered to Melbourne by a local Porsche enthusiast in February 2017.
Vehicle has only travelled 7,290 kms from time of restoration.
1973 911E 2.4 litre, 165hp with a 5 speed 915, is the most drivable version of that era for the street, willing torque and tight handling, with standard factory Fuchs rims. One of the world’s first production cars to have unequal size rims. This ‘long bonnet’ pre-impact bumper model ran from inception to 1974, being replaced by the G Series. Like most cars, the first iteration is usually the best looking.
This is truly a collectable piece of history.
