This 1973 Ford Mustang is a T-bar automatic and powered by its 'original factory' 302ci 2V V8 Windsor motor. It isn't a show car, however it is in good condition for its age and a great cruiser.
I purchased it in December 2019 privately, from a policeman living in Dalby QLD. According to the seller, it had been a country vehicle for many years and the preivious owner lived in Toowoomba QLD. There was some dust, but absolutely no rust or damage on the chassis and all of the panels were very straight.
The vehicle's brakes, suspension and steering are stock and all in good condition and the automatic transmission was also serviced, immediately after I got the vehicle home.
The engine was recently fully rebuilt, by a respected local race engine builder. Virtually a new motor, which has just finished being correctly run-in.
> Bore and hone and polish the crankshaft
> Fullset of new pistons, rings and bigend, main and cam bearings
> New mild camshaft, lifters, timing kit and water pump
> Recondiitioned power steering pump and carburettor
> The heads were reconditioned, including installation of hardened valve seats, enabling it to run on regular 91 unleaded fuel.
> New sparkplugs and leads, fanbelt, thermostat, radiator hoses and cap
> The convertable roof has also been expertly replaced, including a new glass rear windscreen.
> Fitted with 4 x as new tyres and a new battery.
Every panel was removed and stripped back to bare metal, professionally prepared and then repainted in its original colour - progress photos/invoices are available.
This Mustang has current full QLD registration, and has been pre-inspected for the issuing of a Roadworthy Cetificate - available for QLD buyers only.
I am negotiable and open to reasonable offers.
