I’ve owned this car for approximately five years, having purchased it from the original owner who stored it away for many years. While it hasn’t undergone a full rebuild, I’ve invested significant time and effort into maintaining and improving its condition.
The car was repainted prior to my ownership, and the paint remains in excellent condition with no rust present. It’s incredibly reliable—I drive it regularly, and it has never let me down.
Work I've completed includes:
• Reconditioned radiator with new hoses, including the heater radiator
• Rebuilt carburettors
• Reconditioned brake boosters and master cylinder
• Installed new electronic ignition/distributor
• Replaced all steering joints
• New window washer system, pump, and related components
• Reconditioned heater system
• Fitted new tyres
• Reconditioned and balanced drive shaft with new bearings
• Upgraded with a retro-style radio and electric aerial
• New chrome gauge surrounds
• Some chrome finishes restored, including badges
• Reconditioned starter motor
• New battery and seat belts
• Font seats reupholstered and seat mechanisms refurbished
• Roof frame refurbished with a new soft top from Classic Alfa
The car is currently registered and drives beautifully. The engine runs smoothly, with no smoke, good even compression, and has never let me down.
