Classic 1969 Volkswagen Beetle, 1500cc manual — a true original that drives beautifully and turns heads wherever it goes. On our first family drive, my kids asked, “Dad, why is everyone looking at us?”… that pretty much sums it up.
This Beetle presents exceptionally well for its age and is the perfect entry into classic VW ownership or an ideal weekend cruiser.
I’ve personally spent countless hours carefully restoring this car, paying close attention to detail to bring it to its current condition — it’s been a genuine labour of love over the past 4.5 years of ownership.
Originally in Sky Blue, the car was repainted around 15 years ago. Some panels have been resprayed more recently, and while it’s not a show-quality finish, it still presents very well and suits the car nicely.
