Obviously this is a 112 COUPE - NOT A SEDAN. Carsales does not have a category for this car.
Very well known car in collector circles. This is a C1963 300SE 6.3 Coupe.
Leather interior, factory air conditioning, Becker Mexico radio, two way electric sunroof, air suspension, disc brakes, power steering and central locking.
A rare original factory Right Hand Drive Coupe, upgraded by marque specialist Reinhard Klavers to 6.3 running gear, restored from the ground up as a stunning tribute to the one-off 6.3 Litre prototype. Victoria based Stylerod Restorations of Croydon superbly presented the body in metallic burgundy - a slightly deeper version of the factory Padjett Red colour. The pillarless coupes interior was completely re trimmed in cream leather and beautiful burr walnut fascia re-veneerred by German craftsman in Melbourne.
All brightwork on the car was re-chromed to the highest standard. The 6.3 litre V8 was completely re built and blueprinted by Klavers. This car was judged best in class at the Mercedes-Benz Club of Victoria's concourse in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and overall winner in the most Elegant category in 2009.
Forming part of a couple of significant car NSW based collections in recent years, it has been maintained in outstanding award winning condition with very little mileage, the odometer reading just 5,226 miles since restoration.
