It is a moment of sadness that after 33 years of fulfilling ownership I am offering my S4 Coupe for sale; simply getting too old to use it enough. Bought in February 1992 and then a decade plus of a mix of daily driving,SB racing and Targa Tasmania`s. Then the Elan had a body off restoration, with chassis upgraded to 26R specs,fitting a half cage with six point harness and steel billet drive shafts fitted and repaint from Red to Norfolk Mustard Yellow [colour from later model Elan ] Around 10years ago a full engine rebuild with higher comp pistons and a mild cam grind, giving excellent torque. two sets of Alloys wheels for motorsport are included;though you would know need new tyres for these wheels. Recently,the Elan has had a full service with much attention to the brakes as little recent use ie calipers,rotors and pads. This a really excellent Lotus Elan;not concourse but presents well and has been totally reliable and now ready to go to new home. --- anywhere
