This 1968 Jaguar started life as a 240 compact saloon, old English white with blue interior. I purchased it back in 1996 when it was a non running car and partly dismantled due to a siezed engine . and the owner not interested in repairing it. It has been in storage since my ownership and has had some serious $$ spent on it even though it still needs a lot more. There’s too much to mention but briefly it goes like this! Currently has a S1 xj6 engine and gearbox with “T” bar , front and rear suspension replaced, bespoke a/c unit , plus a new Sanden 7SD compressor , and new Bosch 85amp alternator , 4 brand new wire wheels with Avon tyres ( never used) fabulous timber work ( not all pictured), the best I’ve seen, with router cut a/c panel in matching veneer.Bembro front brake rotors and S1 calliper s all round with a Vh44booster. Small amount of rust as per photos but have replacement panels for the repair. I have purchased the double roll bumpers for a better look, tail lights etc are in excellent condition. Car starts, stops and could be driven onto a trailer or similar. At 73 it’s obvious that I am not going to finish this project due to health and priorities with money, like to see it go to someone who has a vision similar to mine. Way too much to enter here if you think you might want to finish this project please get in touch, there’s still a lot to be done. Will come with the original engine/ gearbox, and a lot of new and second hand parts.. Asking price is less than what has already been spent! Carsales value $28500-$35400 ! Odometer is in miles not km. I believe that this is genuine due to the amount of time that the car has been laid up. Open to realistic offers, not low ballers, like to see it go, but I’m not in any great rush.
