1967 Ford Mustang fastback.
Original factory S Code 390
This car is a weapon. The body is dead straight. I’ve seen it from when it was beginning to rebuilt back to bare shell. The color light silvery green with light grey stripes, ghost stripes.
The engine size is a 427 Cleavor. Meaning Windsor bottom Cleveland heads . that meant the engine went through the bonnet. Hence the bonnet scoop is a Ford boss 429 scoop that we had to extend upwards to cover the engine height. It was a painful job, but it come up well. the interior is aluminum instrument panel. Interior is perfect.
Transmission is a five speed Tremec and was built with special gear to handle minimum 1000 hp.
Tremec is also been short shifted, which means that the changes a very quick and very fast
Shorten diff rear end to fit deep dish rooms, Simons FR 17s.
Engine – where do I start? Car is a genuine S code 390 . Now running
Brand new 427 dark block. Hand built, not a crate engine. You can happily speak to the engine Builder if you like.

Engine, trim, five speed and hydraulic gear conversion diff, brakes. That drivetrain cost me 64,000 alone.
custom exhaust custom headers hydraulic clutch Phoenix radiator electric water pump. Water injection designed to keep the block cooler.
Wilwood brakes, all four calipers all four discs. Welded engine plate underneath to protect the engine for sump holes during driving . running an electric water pump and a vacuum pump in the boot to keep the engine more vacuum as the Cam sucks such vacuum being such a large Cam. there’s also the battery is in the boot not the engine bay.
Basically, you can see this was my my pride and joy for the last 14 years. It sounds increasingly angry.
It’s a super powerful weapon that will drop its tire spinning in third gear or not a problem. LED rear lights.
The engine is just too busy to explain. Running a 950 carby but still wants more. Strut braces in the engine bay, separate oil, pressure and temp gauges and it hammer’s. Every time I started it people turn around and ask what the hell is your neck?
When I start the car in the morning, you can feel it through the whole house. I’m sad to see you go but I’m not using it enough. It’s now I’m gonna go to someone that will hopefully appreciate a special this car is. Thank you for reading.
