Imported from California in late 2010, this is a true “A” Code 66 Mustang GT that turns heads with its combination of gorgeous, rust free Springtime Yellow exterior and Parchment Pony interior. Colours are in line with the factory Body Code.
The car retains it’s authentic Left Hand Drive configuration and has the usual GT features, including:
- A lively 289 V8 with a 4V Carburettor (updated to Holley Street Avenger System Carburettor with Edelbrock inlet manifold)
- Dual 2 Inch exhaust including rear valance with Trumpet Exhaust tips
- Kelsey Hayes GT front disc brakes
- GT fuel cap, GT stripes & badges
- GT fog lights
- Deluxe Pony Interior
- Power Steering was also optioned on this vehicle
Over the 15 years that I have owned this car I have had it meticulously maintained by a trusted mechanic who passionately specialises in vintage Fords and Holdens. I have added/renewed the following:
- Brake Booster and master cylinder for improved braking performance and safety
- 3 Core Aluminium Radiator for dependability in the hotter months.
- Dual 2 inch exhaust system
- Rear axle seals, rear spring shackles & bushes and power steering rubbers were all replaced about two years ago.
- Alternator
Import approval documentation, various maintenance history, earlier renovation documentation and the original Californian number plates are all part of the sale.
I purchased this beauty back in 2011 with 62,237 miles on the odometer. The car now has just over 67,000 miles on the clock.
