Up for sale is my beautiful 1965 Mustang convertible, the car has only had 2 owners and presents impeccably
This classic Mustang started life as a 289, 4 speed baby blue California A code car. It was shipped to Australia where it received its right hand drive conversion and has had a full rotisserie restoration and resprayed in “Rangoon Red”.
It’s rear to find a convertible RHD converted mustang of this age with such an extensive list of tasteful modifications. Every modification has been completed with reliability in mind and aided to improve drive ability of the car resulting in it being made to be as reliable as a modern vehicle
The car has always been garaged and covered also is washed weekly.
From there the car has had the below completed:
Performance:
1. Engine is matching numbers but has been fully rebuilt including; boring out to 304ci, featuring forged internals, port and polished heads, upgraded cams, upgraded fuel and air intake system and much much more. This is a high revving high power motor built by the best ford motor builders at Trick and Mansweto
2. Fully upgraded custom exhaust system providing a beautiful tone and classic rumble
3. Ford 9 inch differential for a reliable and bulletproof drivetrain
4. Brand new tremec 5 speed installed to ease driving and make the car great for long distance cruising
5. One piece custom tail shaft
Handling:
1. Aftermarket centre lock style wheels to match era of the car keeping with its originality and enhancing its classic looks
2. Suspension has been upgraded and car has been lowered slightly to increase handling and the aesthetic of the car
3. Brakes have been upgraded
Interior:
1. Car has been fitted with upgraded speakers and Bluetooth connectivity provided through a “retro sound” system
2. Interior has new plastics and surrounds with all chrome recently being professionally polished on the vehicle
3. Interior is original with classic mustang floor mats, seats and the original roof lining
4. Common mustang issues like door rollers have been replaced with brand new assemblies
The car has recently undergone a full paint correction and ceramic coating process making the paint and colour impeccable photos do not do it justice. Absolutely nothing sticks to this paint and the shine is outstanding
Being a convertible this car is a perfect cruiser and family car with a bit of extra punch to make an amazing weekend street vehicle. The car does not disappoint with its modern performance and original looks. This Mustang starts first time every time due to its strict maintenance regime and quality build. It really is my pride and joy and is a regretful sale
