For sale is Herman- a beautiful left hand drive 1964 -21 window safari Kombi with Ragtop roof & pop out front windows.
Has a brand new 1916 CC twin port motor rated at 129 HP - built by Rod Penrose racing.- (motor has done less than 1,000 kms)- new clutch, & brake master cylinder.
Beautiful retrimmed interior in a cream vinyl- Runs like clockwork and drives great. Have just recently spend $5,000 on servicing, including front end, king pins, new gear linkages- (no fishing for gears) - motor out with clutch re torque and general tune. No rust, solid floors and chassis- Chassis has been inspected, cleaned and re tared.
Exterior had a nice paint job around 7 years ago- ive owned the Kombi for 5 years. in that time the bus has driven approx 1200 kms by me.
Very very regrettable sale as this was something ive always wanted.
On club permit- Not transferrable. If looking at putting back on Victorian club permit i can assist.
