Original Bahama Blue VW Beetle – Recent $15k Mechanical Refresh – Rego to 26 May 2026 – $35,000 ono
Mechanically this is now perfect. Starts straight up and purrs, can easily keep up with traffic and will cruise comfortably at 100 km/h with no issues at all.
Recent professional mechanical upgrade package completed July 2025 by Custom Bugs & Buses totalling $14,956. Work includes full 12V conversion, complete transmission rebuild, front and rear disc brake conversion, adjustable front beam, engine and transmission mounts, quick shift kit, engine bay refresh and full supporting service items. Receipts available.
Odometer reads 5,509 miles (it’s in miles, not km). As is very common with classic Beetles, the 5-digit odometer has clearly been around the clock a few times – this car has had a full life!

I had planned a full restoration but unfortunately my father isn’t well, so I need to sell to help with medical bills. It’s sad to let this original Bahama Blue Beetle go – she’s a lovely honest car with some patina but drives beautifully.
