This aptly named "Baby Bird" is finished in Torch Red and comes with a Hard Top in Snowshoe White and a Black Soft Top, the internals of the car in the red/white combination and in very good original condition, the dashboard recovered in a matching red trim. New fittings but not conclusive include period radio with blue-tooth capability, new windscreen, electric wipers, carpet flooring and sound deadening insulation, 2 sets of heavy-duty rubber floor mats, a new ready-to-fit Black Tonneau cover and many other components and features that can be outlined at inspection. Valued workshop manuals, restoration history/photos and other spare parts complete the package.
The rare 3-speed manual transmission is smooth in use and maximises the 292 cu. in. V8 with excellent acceleration and a resultant 'throaty burble' output from its standard exhaust system, a brake booster providing surety of braking and the fully re-wired 12 volt electrical system long term reliability if further fit out options are considered in the future. The car is on non-transferable Club Plates through the Thunderbird Owners Club of Australia, the odometer reads as 31,404 miles / 50,500 Km
