Volvo PV 444 E,
1953, 6 volt
B4B,
left hand drive, personal import
clearly not a P1800, but there's no 'other' option
Located St Agnes, South Australia, on historic, non-transferable rego.
When I imported it (from The Netherlands in 2017), had all brake linings replaced, to aid asbestos import issues.
full Stainless steel exhaust,
converted from front drum brakes to 122/1800 disc brake (all old parts will come with sale) also converted from 444 brake master cylinder to 544 master, so there's a plastic reservoir in engine bay for safety.
All door trims replaced, seat trims replaced with original fabric, roof lining replaced, under floor insulation added.
converted from non synchro 3 speed manual to M40, later four speed trans (comes with original trans)
radiator re cored from honeycomb to conventional type, with 6 volt electric fan to assist.
Engine fully rebuilt, new pistons, bearings, Welsch plugs, valves, camshaft, fuel pump, carby re fresh, timing gears, clutch, water pump etc
also running fully programable electric ignition (comes with stock dizzy)
comes with import approval info, left hand drive exemption
have added indicators to front & rear bumpers to aid other road users. comes with several new, not fitted parts
All internal instrumentation in Swedish
Speed in kmph
happy to answer any questions, doesn't leak & ready to show n shine tomorrow, I'm just looking at downsizing. There are so many new parts made for these, as the 544 was quite highly produced overseas.
Happy to provide pictures on hoist etc . personally, I am heavily involved in the Volvo scene, both car club & running my own workshop that specializes in Volvo.
Thanks for looking
