This stylish 1948 MG TC has been affectionately looked after having only 43300 km (27,000 m.) on the clock. The car has been subtly modified for a better driving experience and pleasurable driving on highways and around town. For those looking for the vintage look coupled with upgraded mechanics, this is worth a serious look and priced to go. It presents well, and all body work has been well maintained. Mechanically, the vehicle has been regularly serviced by a reputable mechanical business. The car is fully registered in NSW which makes for an easy transfer. The owner is selling the car for medical reasons. This TC was purchased from Robert Gibson of Newcastle in 2007. It was originally bought by W. F. Hall of Pyrmont in February 1949. • Black with Biscuit upholstery • 1250 cc engine • Aftermarket air filter intakes • 5-speed gearbox. The overdrive gear enables comfortable cruising at highway speed, aided by a high ratio differential. • 16-inch wheels and wider tyres give superb handling and braking • Indicators fitted front and rear for added safety • Taillights and brake lights housed with indicators • Engine immobiliser • Left foot rest for long trips • Fold down windscreen • Perspex wind deflectors • Detailed history of the car can be provided upon request from Moxham Automotive Wyong Extras included : • Car cover • Fire extinguisher Imperfections as pictured • Disassembled front small driving light needing repair • New roof from Moss Motors still in the box supplied to replace current one which is torn • Broken knob on dashboard • Only some dash lights and/or gauge lights work. Switches need repair and globes replaced. • Some knobs on dashboard reassigned.
